two minute phone call from psychiatrist id never met and signed off back to gp with no understanding of my condition. previous two psychiatrists had been excellent but due to being moved back to campbell house from daventry meant i could no longer see a trusted and respected psychiatrist Dr [name removed]. Despite my work as a MH advocate ( i’d been promised not to go under campbell house to maintain my privacy as a client and a professional)

Not sure
Taking on this journey was not easy ! I've gone through a lot in my life and without realising it I've become so lost that I felt that the only way out was to take my life. I battled with this for a long time and although I had the kids to keep me from doing any harm to myself , I could feel myself losing grip and I felt completely alone and unable to take charge of my own thoughts.
I felt weak for asking for help and was probably almost forced to go down that route if I wanted to keep my job and keep the kids.
I can honestly say that I am so grateful that I did and even more grateful that somehow I ended up with [name removed]. I was quite reserved at first but [name removed] and I clicked very quickly and she made me feel completely safe and I knew that I could trust her with my life , literally !!
Caring and I mean genuine caring . None of our calls felt rehearsed or like I was just another number. She was professional and even with a 2 week gap between calls she would have all the details ready and when we spoke it was like we've known each other for a long time. She would also challenge one or two things we spoke about which was good , it made me think a bit more and not just settle for an easy answer but explore more , why not this or that ...
She treated me with dignity and I honestly believe that she cared about me and wanted me to get better. That is a massive deal to a person who believed they couldn't go on anymore and felt completely alone.
Over the last two years my care has been reduced from weekly/two-weekly appointments shared between Eating Disorder Service Psychologist and Dietician & CMHT to a single 30 minute appointment with Consultant Psychiatrist every 9-12 months. There is no longer any therapeutic input. In several respects my difficulties/condition have worsened with no improvement in any sense. I have never been given an emergency point of reference although I am conscious that my behaviours have now deteriorated whereby I have acted sufficiently irrationally and/or been unable to control my anger to the distress/concern of others. The outcome of said consultation is a foregone conclusion; I have the option of medication; despite this having little to no longer-term positive effect over the 18 years I have used CMHT/Campbell House. However, this message does not appear to have any currency. I have attempted to discuss my problems with my G.P., however, the last time I called I was placed in a queue for 1hr3mins before the call was cut-off.

I feel the care I’ve received has been very good in managing my condition.
I have been waiting to get into the system for months. And was on the verge of killing myself. Lucky I spoke to a great doctor who got me referred. Within 1 weeks I had an appointment, and was seen twice in one day. I feel I have had a service and mot now

Rescheduled an appointment I’ve been waiting over a month for. I was referred to blue arc because I was in crisis for weeks. When I wanted to go to the warren for my own safety no one was there to answer the phone. I’m lucky to still be alive given the “care” I received. Absolutely ridiculous how they treat patients.

I have never had my own nurse since I was told I had bipolar 1 back in 2019. I was seeing a doctor for the first year but after that no one. I have had many uppers and downers and have no one to talk to any more.

From my meeting with A J at the custody suite
Who was able to help me and find me a place at the Warren, and arranging my assessment with [name removed] at Campbell house and [name removed], who has been helping me through this time in my life if it was not for these people I would not be here today.
Everything was going fine until my CPN [name removed] suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled it towards his trouser area. I thought he had locked me in the room except I was able to get out. I just pulled my hand away and left.
We would like to investigate this properly. Please contact our confidential helpline (pals) on 0800 917 8504 or pals@nhft.nhs.uk.
I am very concerned about your review and have escalated it immediately to the service manager. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager
